  Come to this camp to experience fine craftsmanship! Campers will create a one-of-a- kind leather tooled project, dying the leather after stamping images into the thick surface. Then they will punch holes and cut cord to make a sewn leather pouch, adding snaps or a drawstring for closure. They will also measure, cut, drill, sand and glue wood pieces to make a wooden toy, painting it after assembly. In addition, soft metal foil will be used to fashion a metal worked design (or two) using wooden tools and punches to press into or poke through the metal for details. Skills to last a lifetime and hours of fun! All materials will be provided and material fees are included!

  Welcome to Camp Cupcake! In this camp students will learn the art of decorating creative cupcakes with materials such as piping bags, piping tips, spatulas, food color and edible toppers! During our first two days, campers will leave with an assortment of cupcake creations to share at home. On the third day, we will learn to decorate our very own small cakes to bring home and share! All campers will bring in 6 unfrosted cupcakes in a carrier/container with a tall lid. All other materials are provided.

We will delve into these techniques throughout the week in order to gain a greater ability to draw from life as well as from photographs.
